Custom Built-Ins in Charlotte: Niches, Fireplaces, and Awkward Walls
Concord and Harrisburg houses are full of niches that are almost a bookshelf and fireplaces that never got a mantel worth looking at. Jesminov designs, builds, and installs custom built-ins that scribe to walls that are never square. Paint-grade vs stain-grade is a budget conversation on day one, not a surprise when the doors are already made.
We measure three times. Scribe strips hide the out-of-plumb wall. Install includes leveling so doors do not swing themselves open. Awkward leftover walls next to a chimney are our favorite jobs — they are where store-bought bookcases always look like they missed.
Shop then site
Carcasses are built in the shop, finished, then fitted. That keeps dust out of your living room. Electrical for library lights is coordinated before the unit goes in. If you also want a TV wall, we draw both as one piece so the reveals line up.
Service: custom furniture.
Quick answers
IKEA hack?
We can build around boxes. We would rather build the thing. The price difference is smaller than people think once you add scribe and paint.
Lead time?
Shop time depends on the finish. We will not demo a wall until the unit is on the calendar.
Paint match to trim?
We spray a sample against your existing trim in your light.
