Built-In Entertainment Centers That Hide the Mess

Updated October 29, 2026 · Jesminov Builders Workshop

Built-in entertainment centers in South End and Dilworth living rooms have to hide the mess and not bake the receiver. Jesminov vents gear, manages wires, and sets the TV to the seating — not to a fireplace that sits too high. Doors can be slat, paint, or glass. The electrician is on the job before the carcass lands.

A media wall is furniture plus blocking plus airflow. Skip any of those and you get a pretty box that dies in two summers. We leave service access so the next HDMI standard does not require a sawzall.

Fireplace plus TV

Sometimes the mantel wins and the TV goes beside, not above. We will say that on a drawing even if it is less Instagram. Heat and a $3,000 panel is a dumb fight to lose. See also TV accent walls and custom furniture.

Quick answers

Soundbar or in-wall speakers?

Soundbar is simpler. In-wall needs a plan before drywall or slats close.

Component drawers?

Ventilated, or they become ovens. We vent.

Matching the mantel?

We can. Bring a photo of the stone and the stain.
