What the 3-Week Kitchen Remodel Timeline Actually Looks Like
Here is the 3-week kitchen remodel timeline Jesminov actually runs in occupied Charlotte and Fort Mill homes — not a brochure. Materials are ordered first. Demo does not start because someone is excited on a Friday.
Days 1–2. Protect floors, demo boxes and tops, rough-in plumbing and electrical, haul off. You keep a coffee station.
Days 3–8. Cabinets, fillers, panels, lighting. Doors may come off for finishing. The room looks worse before it looks better. That is normal.
Days 9–14. Tops, sink, appliances, backsplash. Glass or open shelves last so they do not get used as a ladder.
Last days. Hardware, caulk, appliances final, punch walk with you in the room. We do not call it done from the truck.
What slips a schedule
Tops that were templated from a dream. A range that is still on a boat. A homeowner who redesigns the backsplash after the tile is on a truck. We would rather pause than install the wrong thing fast. Tega Cay and Fort Mill jobs follow the same calendar; HOA dumpster rules are the only extra paperwork.
Full offer: kitchen renovation. Cost sketch: calculator.
Quick answers
Can it be two weeks?
Cosmetic jobs with stock cabinets, yes. Custom paint-grade and waterfall islands, plan on the full window.
Will I have water?
Usually yes in the rest of the house. The kitchen sink is down during the middle week.
Do you work weekends?
When the schedule needs it. Not as a default so the crew is wrecked on Monday.
